| Welcome | Apart from Jesus, describe one person who has been a great influence in your life and how they have changed your life. | ||||||||||||
| Worship | Read Isaiah 6.1-8: Isaiah’s commission. It is as he worships the Holy God that he answers God’s call. As you worship, be expecting to hear from God. He is holy so use worship songs that explore his holiness. Psalm 15 answers the question ‘Who may dwell in your sanctuary?’ You might use your worship as a time of repentance for failure to answer his call and follow him. |

| Word | Read Luke 18.18-30
1. If 12 disciples were able to change the world so much and the Roman Empire in particular, why do we doubt what we can do? 2. What difference ought it to make to us that he has chosen us rather than we choosing him? 3. Can you be a disciple on your own or do you need others? Why do people think they can do it on their own? 4. What things prevent us from following Jesus/hearing God’s call? 5. Is the church affected by a consumerist mentality? What can be done to change this? |

| Witness | If we are called into a common discipleship, what is God asking us to do as a group to express that? It doesn’t have to be something ‘big’ but it does have to be something God! | ||||||||||||
